Woo-hoo winter came to our city this week and I already caught a cold. What a pity! So my weekends are terrible, no energy and no wish to do something. It will be so good to drink a cup of tea with honey or raspberry jam.
As I continue to work in those typical paper companies I am so upset that lots of paper is used to no purpose. Even there are some people who dry their hands with paper after washing. This is our modern culture, when most of us don't care about using natural resourses. it seems like there are a lot of plants everywhere, so you think you can use this material as much as you want. Hell, no. Everything ends somewhen.
Look at these damn holidays. They cut real fir-trees for selling and when it is the 1st of January these trees cost nothing, them lying on the ground, and wow, nobody already needs them. This is all done for money. I did not buy any trees for holidays for the last several years. can you imagine that one fir-tree grows for over 10-20 and more years and then you cut it for what? For your holidays (couple of weeks) and it's dead.
I understand that we can't live without wood, these paper bags, doors and windows, furniture, books... But we can use plastic windows and glass tables, e-books and etc. There lots and lots of other materials. I am not sure I want to print my art catalog as a paper book. That can be enough if it will exist as an electronic document.
I am very respectful with plants. That is why I love to paint plants. I have a beautiful lemon tree with height like mine. It was grown from a small seed, but today it's a powerful tree. I am in love with palms, there are several small date palms also grown from seeds and a big ivory yucca at my home.
Where will you go when you will fed up with your rountine? Are you looking for a quite place with beautiful nature? That amazing places will not exist in future if you will not care about it today. A wise man said "if you rip a blade of grass - the whole universe will flinch".
Well, I have morning now. The Sun is shining, the weather is sweet and vanilla tea is ready!
I am very exited to share with you how art book making process is going on. This week was rather nervous and busy, so I have time only at weekend. And the muse was somewhere, not with me all these days. Yesterday I bought beautiful paper for pastel drawings of warm colors. I use mixed technique for my new paintings that you will only see in my book.
I put my soul, my energy, my sense, my time in this project. And it takes time to finish. Living in creating process is the best time in my life. Once my friend, called Jupiter, said "A painter is shaman, with help of him the higher powers come to our world." It's so true and I Love it! Believe in what you do, do what you like and you will live in harmony with yourself. This is the sense of living and this is freedom.
Forget to say, not a long time ago I had an interview with two amazing and talented people. To know What can inspire and what can help to continue your beginnings Keep your eyes on my blog!
